Quantico's Jacob Artist joins American Horror Story

Jacob Artist joins the cast of American Horror Story

American Horror Story season 6 has truly been the most mysterious yet, with fans buzzing with speculation of what the ambiguous theme of the season will be and who will appear in the season. It has been confirmed that previous-season stars Lady Gaga, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, and Angela Bassett are returning for season 6. Some new faces will also be introduced this season, too.

There was some speculation for a while that Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. was spotted near the American Horror Story set, which Gooding has since confirmed. Now it appears that actor Jacob Artist, the actor behind Noah “Puck” Puckerman’s little brother Jake Puckerman from the musical series Glee has confirmed his first time involvement with American Horror Story in the show’s new season.

Jacob Artist, 23, posted a photo of what appears to be the screenplay for American Horror Story, with a conveniently placed piece of paper covering up the name of this season’s theme, to his verified Instagram account. The photo’s caption simply said “Day 1.” Artist’s role in the film remains a mystery.

This is not the first time Jacob Artist has worked with American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy, as mentioned. Artist portrayed the character Jake Puckerman in Ryan Murphy’s musical comedy drama Glee, which ended its run on the FOX network in March of 2015. When Glee closed, Artist found a recurring role as Brandon Fletcher on ABC’s mystery crime-drama Quantico.
